Do you feel pulled in a million different directions everyday?
Do you long for just a few minutes of quiet? A place to put up your weary feet and have your soul fed?
Is the list of to-do’s more pressing than the list of want-to’s?
Are there days when it feels as if the burden and busyness of life can be crushing?
Believe me I get it. I am a wife, a mom of three, and a teacher of young children. Reality is, hiding isn’t possible–or even practical.
Life can be messy and hard.
But life can also be beautiful, gracious, and the very fabric of what makes us who we are.
Our experiences tell our story. Our inspiration and dreams shape us.
The lessons we learn teach us so that we may teach others.
Find rest here and be encouraged wherever this road has you walking right now.
You are loved and so very precious.
I look forward to walking with you!

My eight year old sighed from the back seat. “I hate going to birthday parties because I always get jealous”. My early morning brain struggled to comprehend this statement as we made our trek to school. Not enough sleep or coffee instantly made me think “MOM FAIL” I paused the guilt monster long enough to…
